Server - Myton, Utah

Position Summary

As a Server / Bartender at Hideout Steakhouse & BBQ, you’ll deliver outstanding hospitality while creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. From serving our signature Steak on a Stone® and award-winning BBQ to crafting beverages and providing exceptional service, you’ll be a key part of the Hideout experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with friendly, genuine western hospitality.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve meals and beverages while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
  • Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
  • Keep dining and bar areas clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and fellow team members to ensure timely service.
  • Follow all responsible alcohol service, food safety, and sanitation regulations.

Previous serving or bartending experience is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated individuals who have a passion for hospitality.

Preferred Experience

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • Full-service restaurant or steakhouse experience
  • Bartending and beverage preparation
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails
  • Table service in a high-volume restaurant
  • Point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
  • Food and beverage menu knowledge and upselling
  • Responsible alcohol service practices
  • Private dining, banquet, or catering service
  • Guest conflict resolution and hospitality
  • Team-oriented restaurant environments

Previous serving or bartending experience is preferred; however, we are happy to train motivated individuals who have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (bartending duties).
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have (or obtain) a valid Food Handler’s Permit and any required alcohol service certification.
  • Pass pre-employment drug and background screenings.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, carrying food and beverage trays, frequent bending and reaching, and working efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
